IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dolores Ann
Mills
April 24, 1950 – October 14, 2020
Dolores Ann Mills, 70, of Green Cove Springs, devoted mother of three boys and loved by everyone who knew her, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. At her side at passing was her husband of forty-one years, David, and her loving sisters Gloria and Linda.
She is preceded in death by her father, Vonlehe Craven, her brother, Bennie Craven, and her nephew, Raymond Craven.
She is survived by husband, David E. Mills; her three sons, Richard, Dallin and Michael Mills; along with daughters-in-law, Dana, Carleigh and Rachael; her mother, Sara Jane Craven; her two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gloria and Tim Elswick, Linda and Alvin Jolley; along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
In the gospel according to Matthew, Jesus said, “I come not to be served, but to serve, and give my life a ransom for many.” In so many ways, Ann fleshed out this principle in her daily life. She was an example to us all of a person “walking with Jesus”, always giving of herself, forever serving others, never asking anything in return.
For this she will be remembered always by those who speak her name.
Her family will receive friends, from 6-8pm, Monday, October 19, 2020 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Ralph Cobb officiating. A graveside service to follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.
