DIANN MYTTY

February 3, 1945 – November 5 ,2026

•      Diann Mytty passed away peacefully on November 5, 2026, in Moosehaven Skilled Care at the age of 82. She was born on February 3, 1945, in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, to Winifred and Freida Chamberlain. On June 22, 1982, Diann married Melvin Mytty. She was a loving mother to her three daughters, Kristie Brenden, Kimberly Freestad, and Dawn Pipinich. Prior to her retirement in 2006, Diann enjoyed a successful career with Walmart, where she served as an Assistant Store Manager. Diann became a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in August 1982. She was a lifetime member of Chapter 243 and Lodge 556 in Missoula, Montana. She earned her Academy of Friendship degree on May 5, 1986, and faithfully served in several leadership roles, including Junior Regent from 2012 to 2013 and Secretary/Treasurer from 1989 to 1994. Diann joined Moosehaven on October 15, 2022. Diann was known for her beautiful smile that she blessed everyone with! She was also known for her kindness, compassion, and willingness to help anyone in need. Her warm spirit and friendship touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by her many friends at Moosehaven.

• Diann will be cremated and a memorial service will be held in her honor at the Moosehaven Chapel on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
