IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Debra "Debbie" Ann
Kirkman
March 14, 1962 – March 1, 2026
Celebration of Life
River Christian Church
Starts at 1:00 pm (Eastern time)
Debra (Debbie) Ann Kirkman, age 63, of Fleming Island, FL passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026 at her home which she affectionately referred to as 'her paradise' or 'heaven on earth'. She was the beloved daughter of Larry and Barbara Kirkman and born at Ft. Campbell, KY on March 14,1962.
Debbie was very talented and energetic. She had a huge love for music, dance, sunshine, nature, living life and making her nephews and nieces laugh with her crazy antics. Her early years of softball, gymnastics, dance, tap and ballet afforded her many opportunities. She participated in The Nutcracker Ballet and was a USFL Bulls Cheerleader in their inaugural year. Her work experience began as a legal secretary with Lou Frost; Duval County Public Defender. Debbie also worked in other law offices, credit unions, restaurants and modeled on the side. Interestingly, none of those came close to bringing her fulfillment or purpose as did 'Debbie's Dog Care', where she opened her home to boarding dogs and loving each of them as her own.
Those who knew Debbie will remember her for her generous heart, her desire to shower friends with love and her unwavering devotion to her pets. Debbie attended River Christian Church and experienced her deepest love when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She loved learning about Jesus, and what made this so meaningful were her brothers and sisters in Christ who came alongside her to shepherd, guide and nurture her on her incredible journey. Debbie would always say, 'I have the best friends and love my life group!'
Debbie is survived by her loving parents, Larry and Barbara, her sisters Robin Conte (Mike) and Susan Aman (Eugene). She also leaves behind nephews Ryan Humphrey, Austin Aman (Kelby) and Parker Aman (Karlie), nieces Rachel Chang (Rodrigo) and Karissa Aman; grandnephews Adrian Humphrey and Riley Aman; grandnieces Alayna Humphrey and Autumn Chang. Other family members to include uncles, aunts, and several cousins. Debbie also leaves behind many friends who cared deeply for her and will sadly miss her.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00, Saturday, March 14, 2026 (Debbie's birthday) at River Christian Church, 5900 US Highway 17, Fleming Island, FL.
