David W. McGuire

David McGuire, 73, of Orange Park, FL passed away January 31, 2023.  He was born February 25, 1949 to Elsie Spiaggi and Marvin McGuire in Westmorland, PA. He graduated from Blairsville High School in 1967 and worked for the Navy as a computer analyst for over 35 years before retiring.

Among the many charities he donated to, he enjoyed collecting guns, shooting sports and hanging out with his friends at CHEERS and LOCALS.

David will be remembered for his big heart and his amazing sense of humor. He would brighten the day of all who were around him.  He will be greatly missed.

David is preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his brothers Tim and Michele McGuire, Rick and Jan McGuire both in PA.

His son Matt and Lisa McGuire. His granddaughters Savanna McGuire and Kayla Key both in FL. And many, many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.  The family will receive friends in the chapel from 10:00 am until service time. Burial will follow in Peoria Cemetery.
