David Ball, 85, of Green Cove Springs, FL., passed away on January 21, 2020. He was born to David Ball Sr. and Linda Alcock on May 23, 1934 in Pamlico county, North Carolina. David was married to Gussie LaNell Searcy for over 50 years. He served in the United States Navy for over 22 years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. David was preceded in death by his father, David Ball Sr., his mother, Linda Alcock, his wife Gussie, and his son Michael.

David is survived by sons, Robert Ball (Sherrie), and Kenneth Ball (Sheila), daughter Brenda Morris (Steven), and grandchildren Tara Ball, Meagan Carlson (Alex), Nathan Ball, Stephen Ball, Hailey Ball, Kenneth Ball Jr. (Nicole), Rileigh Morris, Bailee Morris, Lily Morris, and great grandchild Genevieve Ball.

A memorial service will be held at Oakleaf Baptist Church on February 6, 2020 at 6:00 pm.
