Daniel "Danny" Francis Vierling

Daniel Francis Vierling, affectionately known as Danny, was born on May 8, 1948, in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. He departed this life peacefully at his home in Orange Park, Florida, on May 16, 2025, after a lengthy illness.

Danny's life was characterized by his love for woodworking and fishing, passions that provided him with joy and fulfillment throughout his years. However, his greatest love was undoubtedly for his wife, Diane, with whom he shared a deep and abiding bond. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and mutual support.

Danny is survived by his cherished family, including his beloved wife of 54 years, Diane, and their sons, Michael (Rita) and Paul (Shelia). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Cody, McKenzie, Michaela, and Steven. Additionally, he is survived by his sisters, Mary Lou Wilkinson (Shu-Shu) and Sharon Newberry, along with numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends who will deeply miss his presence.

His parents, Herbert and Myrtle Vierling along with his brother, Michael Leo Vierling, preceded him in death.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM at Black Pond Baptist Church, located at 3644 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL. Burial will follow at Black Pond Cemetery. Lunch will follow in the Fellowship hall after services. 

Danny's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him, as they remember his kindness and the unwavering love he had for his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. His memory will be cherished forever.
