Danny Joe Schweitzer, 61, of Middleburg, FL, passed away on October 27, 2023. Danny was born on June 22, 1962, in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late John and Edith Schweitzer. Danny graduated from High School and then served 4 years in the United States Army. He dedicated 26 years to TCR. Danny met the love of his life Rachel in 1997, and then they married in 2000. Danny lived his life to the fullest every day. From cruising on his motorcycle, spending time at the beach and camping, to tinkering around the house and spending time with his family. Danny will be remembered for always being willing to lend a helping hand and share knowledge with anyone. He was a role model for any young man. Danny is preceded in death by his brothers Gary & Willie Schweitzer and his sisters Nancy Poole & Sam Mullins. Danny is survived by his wife Rachel Schweitzer of Middleburg FL, his sons Joseph Schweitzer of Orange Park FL & Travis Wyatt of Live Oak FL, his brothers Dennis (Indian) Schweitzer of New Port Richie FL & Roger Young of Wyoming, his two grandchildren Kaleb Schweitzer & Brailey Wyatt, and his fur babies Dazee, P-Nut, & Hellboy. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel.
