  • In Loving Memory of Our Dad, Daniel R. Weaver

  • Daniel Weaver, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, was from Shelby, Ohio, a place that was a meaningful part of who he was. For 40 years, he devoted his life to helping others as a chiropractor, caring for people with compassion, dedication, and a genuine desire to make a difference in their lives. But above all of his accomplishments, Dad’s greatest joy and legacy was his family and the strong Christian values he instilled in us. He is survived by his three wonderful children, five grandchildren, and one great-grandson, all of whom were blessed beyond measure by his love and the example he set.

  • He was everything an earthly father should have been—kind, loving, encouraging, supportive, and always able to see the very best in us and in others. He had a way of making people feel loved, valued, and believed in, and his presence was a gift to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His smile could light up a room and brought so much joy to those around him. He was truly one of a kind, and it was the little things that made him so wonderfully him: his obnoxiously loud sneezes, the little tune he loved to sing—“ba da ba ba ba”—his big bear hugs, and his funny voice messages that will forever bring a smile to our faces.

  • He loved to bask in the warmth of the sun, and while we will miss seeing him enjoy those simple moments, we find comfort in knowing that he is now basking in the glorious presence of the Almighty. The space he leaves behind is immeasurable. He will be missed more than the heart can fathom, and loved more than words could ever express.

  •  His love, his laughter, his encouragement, and the beautiful example he gave us will remain in our hearts always. Though our hearts are broken by his absence, we hold tightly to the promise that this is not goodbye forever. We look forward to the day when we will be reunited in Heaven, where there will be no more sorrow, no more tears, and no more goodbyes. Until that glorious day, Dad, we will carry your love with us always. You were, and always will be, one of the greatest gifts God ever gave us.

  •  In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the City Rescue Mission in Jacksonville, in memory of Daniel R. Weaver.
