Christopher Alan Kent, 49, born March 29, 1976 passed away on September 24, 2025.

Chris was a beloved husband, son, father, stepfather, and friend to many. He worked as a mechanic for Ground Support Equipment at NAS JAX, where he was known for his dedication and skill.

Chris was a devoted dad to his son James and a loving stepdad to Chris and Joseph. He was a father figure to many, always ready to offer guidance and support to those in need.

Throughout his life, Chris found joy in many hobbies, from riding horses and graduated to riding bulls. He enjoyed playing paintball and watching football. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing. He could be found sitting inside playing video games or spending time in the garage tinkering with tools. He also loved riding his Harley at every opportunity.

Chris will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and his willingness to help others. He leaves behind a legacy of love and friendship that will be cherished by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

Chris is survived by his wife; Angela Kent, mother; Alice Kent, sister; Kimberly Dietrich, son; James Blodgett, and stepsons; Christopher and Joseph Morris. He was preceded in death by his father; Gregory Kent. 

Rest in peace, Christopher Alan Kent. Your memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Pledger officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer plants.
