Christa D. Ingram (MIMI), age 41, went to be with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior on May 9th, 2025. She passed away peacefully at her home in Green Cove Springs, Florida. She was born to Jennifer Nicholson and Arnold Messer on June 1st, 1983 in Orange Park, Florida and raised as a local “GreenCovian.”
She most recently worked for The Sheik, in Green Cove Springs beginning in 2018 until she no longer could work due to her declining health. She married Gary Joseph Ingram on May 25, 2015.
Christa’s hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, cooking, eating, hunting for shark teeth at the beach, tending to her plants, spending time with her children, gossiping about true crime, and most of all helping others no matter the cost. She will always be remembered as the most amazing grandmother to her grandbabies, the absolute best mother to her children, and the most funny, crazy, outgoing person in the room. Her all-time favorite color was purple. Christa was the light of so many people's lives and has touched so many hearts during her short time she had on this earth.
She is preceded in death by her mother Jennifer Nicholson, her stepfather Bruce “chi” Wicker, her sister Theresa Avila, her aunt Debbie Messer, and her uncle Dale Messer.
She is survived by her father Arnold Messer (Glenda), her brother Donald Messer, her grandmothers Glenda Henline-Mick and Mary Carder, her three children Kelcey Harryman (Cody), Russell “Logann” Harryman (Mazie), Brooklynn “Brookie” Harryman (Rylan), her grandbabies Kinsley “KK” Burch, Greyson Burch, Preston Wilder, Jasper Harryman, Oakley Burch, her nephews Joshua Wicker, Jose Avila, and Johnny Avila, her niece Alexis Wicker, her aunt Debbie Carder, uncles Bruce Messer and AJ Marshall (Stephenie), and her two pups Teddy and Bella.
Any donations or contributions can be sent to Broadus-Raines Funeral Home under Christa’s name to help the family with burial costs.
The family also wants to give special thanks to the Living Waters Worship Center for all the support during such a tough time, and to all medical staff she's had these past few years because everyone knows she couldn't just be easy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Living Waters Church with Pastor Joe Barrie officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
