Charlotte Knowles Lane, 85, of Decatur, GA, passed away on May 13, 2017. She was born on January 1, 1932 in Green Cove Springs, FL to the late Willie B. and Frances (Bentley) Knowles. She is survived by son, Mark Gottberg (Eloise); daughters, Gail Walker (Al) and Sheri Phillips (Tony); brothers, Harold Knowles (Jewel) and Bill Knowles (Frances); sister, Betty Hoffman, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, May 19, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Joe Barrie officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00am to service time. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
