Charles Leon England Sr. 76, of Middleburg, Florida passed away on May 17, 2021 at Memorial Hospital Jacksonville, Florida with his beloved wife Carole by his side.

He was born in Decatur County, Indiana on September 28, 1944 to the late Cartus Ray England and Maydella Parish. Upon graduating from high school in 1962 he joined the Navy and became a Flight Engineer where he attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer.

He obtained his Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree and Doctorate Degree in Logistics. Leon also did four tours to Vietnam.

He retired in 1985 with 23 years of service. Later went on to work in Civil service retiring in 2012. Leon was a member of Orange Park Presbyterian Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Charles Jr. (Kim); grandson, Chas; sister-in-law, Charlene Rice; sisters, Barbara Weiman, Sharon Jessie and Rachel Lofton; and brothers, James England and Clayton England.

A graveside service with Military honors will be held at 11:30 am, Tuesday May 25, 2021 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Rev. John Diller of Orange Park Presbyterian Church officiating.
