Chalmers Marion Thomas, Sr.

Chalmers Marion Thomas, Sr., 40, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on March 17, 2021 at 4:09am, and the Lord welcomed one of His many blessed children into His arms of eternity.

Chalmers was born on May 2, 1980 to Dariline Blackwell and Cornelius Thomas. He received early education in Duval and Orange county school systems. He found his passion for truck driving in 2004 and was employed by Milton Trucking Company before falling ill.

Chalmers was a gentle giant who loved fishing, cooking, trash talking, and spending time with his family.

Chalmers is survived by his devoted wife of 12 years Katia Thomas; loving children Kiana and Chalmers Jr.; doting mother Dariline; loving brother Derrick; grandmother Margaret Lee; favorite uncle and cousin Daniel and Tameka; and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Worship Center of Jacksonville from 9:00am-10:00am. The funeral service will follow at 10:00am with Pastor Gerald Dinkins officiating.
