Cecil Julio Escalada

Cecil Julio Escalada, 1 month old, of Orange Park, Florida, passed away in his parents’ arms on Friday, July 30, 2021. He was born to parents Sabina and Daniel Escalada on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida. A sweet and beloved baby, Cecil was a fighter who brought joy and hope to his family until the very end. He will be remembered as a beautiful, loved soul whose short time on earth instilled faith and love.

He is survived by mother Sabina Escalada, father Daniel Escalada, brother Raphael Escalada, maternal grandparents Lynn and Henry Ontiveros, paternal grandparents Gilda and Sergio Escalada, paternal great-grandfather Alejandro Martinez, maternal great-grandmother Gladys Filmore, along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
