Catherine Kaczmar Patton, 71 of Fleming Island, FL passed away on August 27th, 2025. She was born January 11th, 1954 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Estelle Breeden and Stephen Kaczmar. Cathy was a resident of Green Cove Springs all of her life until moving to Fleming Island. She was a member of Harbor Baptist Church where she felt lots of love from all. Her passion was singing in the choir where she felt God in her heart. She retired in 2020 from Clay County Clerk of the Courts after 21 years.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, Estelle Breeden and Stephen Kaczmar, sisters Joyce Ortagus and Jane Hunt, and niece Darlene Silcox. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Patton, stepmother, Cindy Kaczmar, daughter, Chrissy “Eden” Brown (Jason) of Vancouver, WA, son, Troy Patton (Allyson), niece Gidgette Lewis (Rob), great-nieces, Autumn and Summer Lewis, great-nephew Joshua Cole and three beautiful granddaughters, Elyse, Rosalyn and Twyla Patton, all of Fleming Island.

Also, the best friend in this world Pamela Kennett.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 25th at 12:00 PM at Harbor Baptist Church. The address is 1120 Clay Street, Fleming Island, Fl 32003. A lunch reception will follow the service.
