Casandra Scott

Casandra Scott, age 82, of Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025.

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, Casandra was a strong, kind-hearted woman whose presence touched the lives of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mary Lou Lunsford and Ben Harold Scott, as well as her cherished daughters Cindy (Cynthia Lou Reilly) and Teresa Diane Long.

Casandra is survived by her devoted son, Darrell Mercer Jr., and her loving grandchildren: Michael Reilly Jr., Matthew Reilly, April Lou Marchbanks, and Jessica Diane Mercer. Her legacy of love, strength, and family devotion will live on through each of them.

Casandra will be remembered for her enduring spirit, her deep family roots, and the warmth she brought into every room. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
