Carole Elizabeth (Brown) Taylor
Our beloved, Carole Elizabeth (Brown) Taylor answered her Savior when He called her name on November 9, 2022, at home in Fleming Island, Florida. She was born on December 31, 1949, in Clinton, Massachusetts.
She was the daughter of the late James A. Brown and Katherine (Stabb) Brown. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Kathy Matella and James J. Brown, and father-in-law, Bruce Taylor.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Terry and son, Nicholas James Canterbury Taylor of Fleming Island, FL; her sisters, Barbara Miller of Harrisonburg, VA and Patricia Eggett of SC; her brother, Robert Brown of GA; her mother-in-law, Ruth Taylor of Daniels, WV; her brother-in law, Greg (Leah) Taylor of Cool Ridge, WV; numerous nieces and nephews, and her faithful feline, Max.
She worshipped with her family at Grace Anglican Church in Fleming Island, FL.
Carole had a love for learning and held several degrees in Secondary Education, Secretary Studies and Interior Design.
She retired from the Department of Defense when her son, Nicholas, was born to be a stay-at-home mother. She enjoyed sewing, interior decorating and decorating for the holidays. She made a house into a home. She enjoyed reading her bible, studying God's word and bible studies. She loved to camp and spend time at the beach. She loved seafood and spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and homemade lasagna was one of her signature dishes. She will be remembered for her kindness and care of her family, and her encouragement to live for Jesus.
In keeping with Carole's wishes, she will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at Grace Anglican Church in Fleming Island on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 11:00am and she will be interned in WV at a later date.
