Carole Stewart, age 83, passed away on September 23, 2026, from complications of Parkinson’s disease and dementia. She was born in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, on April 30, 1943.

Carole married Ron Stewart on March 17, 1984. Together, they loved hunting for antiques and sharing the excitement of a wonderful find. They also spent many happy years enjoying the water at Lake Asbury, jet skiing and swimming. Carole was an exceptional swimmer and worked as a lifeguard early in her life.

A hardworking and gifted salesperson, Carole sold carpet at Sears for 12 years and was named the company’s top salesperson in the nation in 1985. Those who knew her will remember her loyalty, her fierce spirit, and the fact that she was always the best-dressed woman in the room.

Carole is survived by her husband, Ron Stewart; her daughters, Lori Hatcher and her husband, David, of Cookeville, Tennessee, and Lisa Johnson of Sarasota, Florida; her stepdaughter, Melanie Schafer; her grandchildren, Alex Hatcher, Katie Ortiz, and Apryl Faulk; her step-granddaughters, Robin Bentley and Kaite Bentley; and her great-grandchildren, Lucy, Owen, June, Nora, Kyla, and Brynlee.

For the last two years of Carole’s life, Robin cared for her with devotion and compassion. Carole was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
