Carl Wayne Davidson, Jr., 73 years old, from Parkin, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2021 at his home in Orange Park, Florida with his wife, Martha, by his side. Carl graduated from University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. In 1971 he earned his Wings of Gold and flew H-3 Sea King helicopters. After serving in the Navy and in the Navy Reserves, he went on to serve 25 years as an Air Traffic Controller Specialist at the Center in Hillard, Florida. In his spare time, he enjoyed wood working, engine building, any home improvement project and aviation. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Martha Davidson; daughters, Jenny Burton and Kelly Bowmaster; grandchildren, Kole, Kyle, Ashleigh and Ryan.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July, 19, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Middleburg, Florida with Pastor Ralph Estevez officiating. Please wear flamingo-themed or brightly colored clothing in Mr. Davidson’s honor.
