Brenda Gideons Raby

July 30, 1954 – May 18, 2023

On May 18, 2023, Brenda passed away peacefully at age 68. It would be wrong to say that Brenda lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. Her attitude and stubbornness taught us what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Brenda. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight- we can still feel her strength, determination, and stubbornness in the family she left behind. 

She was greeted in Heaven by her family who preceded her: Husband and best friend Don Raby, Mother Doris Gideons, Sister Fay Musselman, and Brother Ronald C. Gideons. Her memories will be carried on by the family still here: Her loving sister Judy Hershberger, beloved Son’s Kenneth Francis and Joey Francis, cherished nieces and nephews, treasured Grandchildren and great grandchildren, and all of her close family friends. She will truly be missed on this Earth, but we know she will continue to watch over us and always be close when we need her. 

The family is having a Celebration of Life service on June 3rd, 2023.
