Bobby L. Shaw, 80, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away August 27, 2018.  He was born on December 28, 1937 in Willow Shade, KY to parents Herbert and Leona (Smith) Shaw.  Mr. Shaw was a self-employed truck driver and moved to the local area in 1964 from Palatka, FL.  He loved gardening, taking care of animals and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Margie J. Shaw; sons, Louie M. Shaw (Diane), Gregory A. Shaw (Ann) and Michael D. Shaw (Jami); daughter, Teresa J. Butterfield (Dana); sister, Barbara Kuhn (Randy); grandchildren, Joshua Shaw (Aneita), Gabrielle Hale (Chris), Travis Butterfield (Nesha) and Joshua Alvarez (Nicole) and great-grandchildren, Jaron Hale, Jaydan Shaw, Liam Hale, Jacob Shaw, Faith Butterfield, Kimberlyn and Kinslyn Alvarez as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Faith Baptist Temple with Pastor Louis Doan and Pastor Charlie Hunt officiating.
