Betty Ann Streeper

Betty Ann Streeper, 85, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away March 6, 2021.  She was born on August 12, 1935 in Gary, Indiana to the late Fred P. and Vera F. Henning.  Betty was a resident of Key West, Florida for many years where she was a civil service employee, before transferring to NAS Jacksonville, Florida, residing in Orange Park and later retiring there. Betty enjoyed fishing, gardening, crafting, painting and all things outdoors. She was a member of Bartram Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister (Carol), brother (Ted), her son, Jeffrey Streeper of Green Cove Springs, and her husband, Thomas H. Streeper.  Survivors include her daughter, Janet F. Hilton (T.K.), daughter-in-law, Lisa Streeper; brothers Fred C. Henning (Carole) and Peter J. Henning; granddaughters, Jessica Bailey (Jeff), Julie Berry (Andy) and Lindsey Spiess; grandson Chad Hilton (Danielle); great grandchildren (June Bailey, Olivia and Owen Berry, Sage, Jayden and Hunter Spiess, Ryker Hilton); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 12, 2021 at Bartram Baptist Church, 13233 Old St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, FL 32258, with Associate Pastor Tracy Parks officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 10 am until service time.  Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
