Bernadette “Bea” Plowden

March 9, 1946 – January 15, 2026

Bea passed away January 15, 2026 in Moosehaven Skilled Care at the age of 79.

She was born to Ernest and Lucille Potvin on March 9, 1946 in North Attleboro, MA.

Bea married William Plowden on February 12, 1966. They have two sons, Arthur and Ernie.

She worked as a claims processor for Progressive Auto Insurance.

Bill introduced her to the Loyal Order of the Moose and she joined Women of the Moose Orlando, Florida chapter #1002 on March 7, 1967. She received her Academy of Friendship degree on April 30, 1972.

Bea and her husband, Bill came to Moosehaven on January 22, 2015.

She is survived by her husband, Bill of Moosehaven, Orange Park, FL and two sons Arthur Plowden of Mexico Beach, FL and Edmond “Ernie” Plowden of Orlando, FL.
