Benjamin O. Meeks Sr., 63, passed away unexpectedly on April 4, 2020. Born to Carl & Betty Meeks on December 27, 1956 in Orange Park, FL. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty R. Meeks. He is survived by 3 siblings, Robert Meeks (Tammie), Eddie Meeks (Margaret) and Sherry Meeks Abernathy all of Green Cove Springs, FL; a loving father to four children, Benjamin Jr (Lauren), Kevin (Melissa), Carla Hanson (Shane) and Cody (Kalyn); nine grandchildren, Corey (Brooke), Rosie, Cire, Zoe, Carson, Colin, Trinity, Garett, Evan and one great-grandchild, Olly. He was a member of Congregational Holiness Church. Benjie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, cooking out and enjoying each other’s company. He loved long drives in his 92 Chevrolet 1500 truck and his dog, Sassy. He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren and huge family and many friends. A private funeral service will be held with burial following at Penney Farms Cemetery.
