Beckie Preston, 83, Jacksonville, Florida passed away on February 8, 2022.  She was born to Richard and Era Atchley on January 13, 1939.  She graduated from Miami High School in Miami, Florida.  She worked as a teacher to pre-school children for many years.  She loved reading, crossword puzzles, crochet and cross stitch.  She will be remembered for her charm and laughter.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings. 

She is survived by her spouse, Robert J. Preston; sons, Walter Lundelius (Clara) and Richard Lundelius (Melanie); daughter, Karen Chasez (Phillip); 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and two nephews. 

Her memorial service will be on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 3:00pm in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Reception will be held after service at the home of Richard Lundelius, 4744 Derrickson Court, Jacksonville, Florida 32210.
