Funeral Service
Barbara Ann Napier Noel crossed over into the Gloryland Way on March 13, 2026. She was married to the love of her life, Rev. Grady S. Noel, for 67 years, whom she lost in September 2024. They had one daughter, Kristy Ann Dunfee (Rodney), three grandchildren, Kaitlin Noel Prevatt (Jake), Patrick Grady Dunfee (Melody), and Aaron Hughes Dunfee (Sarah), and one great-grandchild, Timothy. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Virginia Napier, sister Peggy Manchester, brother Robert “Bob” Napier, niece Sarah, nephews Scott and Michael Manchester. She has two living sisters, June Sexton and Carla Riley. Barbara, or Gram, was a lover of animals—ALL animals but especially her little Red. She loved to cook, shop, go out to eat, Italian food, sweets, loved to feel the wind on her face on a warm summer day, play a good card game of Rook, decorate for fall, listen to music, be with her family, and most importantly, she loved the Lord. Gram was not one big on traveling or one big on adventure or to have an extravagant life—but she liked what she liked and she was going to have it that way. Gram, up until the last few months of her life, went to her church, Lawtey Church of God, where she and Grady pastored for over 20 years. She loved her church and the people there; it always gave her peace and uplifted her when she felt down.
Gram is truly going to be missed as there is literally no one like her—her spunkiness, laughter, sass, hospitality, encouragement, and love is one that won’t and could not ever be forgotten. She was the best of the best—love you forever Gram (Elfie)❤️
Funeral services will be held at the Lawtey Church of God on Saturday, March 21st, 2026 at 11:00am with Reverend Alton Coleman officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers please give to the Roland Senior Dog Sanctuary to honor our Gram’s love for animals.
