Angela Ruth Salisbury

Angela "Angel" Ruth Sides Salisbury, 65, of Jacksonville, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2025 after an extended illness. She was born on December 18, 1959, to Della Ruth Sides and the late Marshall “Gene” Sides.

Angela graduated from University Christian School and retired from Baptist Medical Center.

Angela lived a life filled with love, faith, and devotion to those around her. She was a proud mother to her 2 sons, and a deeply devoted grandmother (Dingo). Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment she spent with them.

She had a tender heart for animals and spent her life caring for and loving them. Whether it was a stray in need of shelter or a pet by her side, Angela’s compassion for animals reflected her kind and nurturing spirit.

Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. As a member of New Life Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, she found strength, community, and purpose. She faithfully attended and cherished her church family, who brought her encouragement and love.

Angela is survived by her mother, Della Ruth Sides; her children, Kenneth Marshall and Zachary Mason Salisbury; her grandchildren, Landon and Izzy Salisbury; her sisters, Allison (Steve) Bureau of Kingsland, GA, and Aimee (Jonathan) Parales of Keystone Heights, FL; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Eugene “Gene” Sides.

Friends and family are invited to a service celebrating Angela’s life at New Life Baptist Church, 6680 Seaboard Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32244. Visitation will be at 2 pm and the service will be held at 3 pm.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and will be forever missed.
