Andy Coletti

November 13, 1944 — September 4, 2021

Andrew A. Coletti Jr., age 76, of Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, September 4, 2021. He was born in Norwich, CT on November 13, 1944 to the (late) Andrew A. Coletti Sr. and Dorothy M. (Strong) Coletti.

Andy worked at Amgraph Packaging in Versailles, CT as a foreman until a career change in his 40s when he became a Corrections Officer with the State of CT Department of Corrections until his retirement.

He was an avid car enthusiast who spent many hours keeping his cars, trucks and motorcycles in showroom condition. He loved to just get in his car and drive whether it was exploring the back roads of Connecticut or a Sunday drive that ended out on Cape Cod. He would drive to Connecticut to visit family and friends every year since retiring to Florida about a decade ago.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Irene Coletti, who he married on July 4, 2017, as well as his daughters, Christine (Coletti) Bright of Canterbury, CT (grandchildren: Evan, Connor, Ashlyn and Mason Bright); and Andrea (Coletti) Rickard (son-in-law Damian Rickard) of Lisbon, CT (grandchildren: Aubrey and Kieran Rickard).

He is also survived by his brother Thomas Coletti (Donna) of Baltic, CT and his sister, Dorothy Caviggia (Raymond) of Preston, CT as well as 5 nieces and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his son-in-law, Mitchell Bright.
