Allen Clark, 41, of Fleming Island, Florida, passed away on April 17, 2026, in St. Augustine, Florida. Allen was born on January 8, 1985, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Helen and Cary Clark. He graduated from Clay High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy for seven years, achieving the rank of E-4, Petty Officer Third Class. Following his military service, Allen transitioned into a successful career in construction, where his strong work ethic and dedication earned him respect across the field. Most recently, he worked as a Building Superintendent for D.R. Horton, where he was known for his hard work and accomplishments. Allen had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished any opportunity to be on the water. Whether boating or fishing—especially alongside his father, Cary—these were some of his happiest moments. He also enjoyed camping, spending time with family and friends, and caring for his beloved pets, who brought him great joy. He will be remembered for his quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and kind, generous heart. Allen was always willing to lend a helping hand and had a special compassion for animals and those he loved most. Allen was preceded in death by his nephews, Hunter Cope and Branden Moore. He is survived by his beloved children, Aubrianna Clark and Grayson Wolniakowski; his parents, Cary and Helen Clark; his grandmother, Louise Harris; his siblings, Crystal Clark, Tammy Moore and her husband J.R. Moore; his fiancée, Kimberly Newton and her son Cayden Gurley as well as his nieces, Hannah Cope and Rachel Moore. A memorial service will be held in the Broadus-Raines Chapel Saturday, April 25th, 2026, at 11:00am with Pastor Jim Joiner officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter in honor of Allen, reflecting his deep love and compassion for animals.
