Alexander Frank Morway

On August 17, 2025, the world lost a remarkable soul when Alexander “Alex” Morway, age 30, of Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away.

Born to Ronald and Melanie Morway on October 19th, 1994, in Orlando, Florida, Alex grew into a man defined by strength, loyalty, and a heart full of love. He served his country with pride in the United States Air Force after graduating from Fleming Island High School.

Alex was a man of many passions. He had a creative eye for photography, a spirit for gaming, and a joy for making masterpieces with technology. He found peace and happiness in the outdoors, but his greatest joy was in the moments spent with his wife, family, loyal service dog Deuce, and furbaby Penney.

To know Alex was to know resilience, bravery, and kindness. He was a devoted husband to Allison and a cherished son to Ron and Melanie. He was a loving brother to Nicholas, Chloe, brother-in-law Colin, and Jack. Alex also leaves behind his grandparents, Ronald Morway Sr. of Oviedo FL, Paul and Eileen Allen of Portsmouth RI, great-grandmother Doris Garside, as well as countless other cherished family, friends, and loved ones. His presence left a mark on every life he touched, and his memory will continue to inspire those who loved him.

Alex’s story is one of courage, love, and devotion both to his country and to his family. Though his time here was far too short, his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel and funeral services will begin at 11:00am with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
