It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Aaron Isaac Hawkins II, who died on July 19, 2026, at the age of 20, following a tragic automobile accident in St. Johns County, Florida. He was living in Fleming Island, Florida.

Aaron was born on December 17, 2005, and from the very beginning he brought joy, laughter, and a smile that everyone remembered. He had a kind heart, an adventurous spirit, and a way of making people feel at ease. Aaron loved baseball and started playing when he was just 4 years old. As both a pitcher and an outfielder, he showed determination, teamwork, and a love for the game that stayed with him throughout his life. He also loved being on the water. Boating and fishing brought him peace and happiness, and he treasured every chance to spend time outdoors with family and friends. Aaron had a close group of friends who supported one another through good times and hard times. Above all, he was an incredible brother who loved and protected his siblings, especially his sisters. His loyalty, care, and love for his family will never be forgotten.

Although Aaron’s life was far too short, he filled his 20 years with love, laughter, adventure, and memories that will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Aaron is survived by his loving parents, Elizabeth and Michael Kenney; his siblings, Madeline Hawkins, Pierce Kenney, Caden Kenney, and Lana Kenney; his grandparents, Rodney and Dawn McKenzie, Valerie Foster, and Jeffrey Johnson; his step-grandmother, Cathy Thistle; his step-grandparents, Mike and Liz Kenney; his aunts, Kasey Winkle, Monique Tadeo (Hawkins), Carrie McKenzie, and Christina Mclain; his uncles, Charlie Winkle, Cristian Tadeo, Paul McKenzie, and Kristopher McKenzie; and his cherished cousins, Nicholas Winkle, Nathan Winkle, Charlie Winkle, Lucas Tadeo, Jacob McKenzie, AJ McKenzie, and Aria Velez, along with many other family members and dear friends who loved him deeply.

A memorial service will be held at Russell Baptist Church on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 3:00pm. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00pm. 2299 Sandridge Rd. Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
