Shawn “Travis” Franklin, 39, of Middleburg, FL was taken from us on Saturday, September 18, 2010 peacefully in his sleep. He was born on December 2, 1970 in Clay County Florida. Travis was preceded in death by his parents Troy P. Franklin and Sylvia Winters Burroughs. He is survived by his son Shawn Tarleton, 19 and daughter Chyanne Franklin, 9 his Fiancé Debra Jordan Croft and her 2 children William 22 and Kaylie 17, half-sister Sonya Burroughs, step-sisters, Lisa & Christy, step-brother Clint, step-father Charles Burroughs and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Travis worked in carpeting and flooring for many years. He loved to fish and sing karaoke. He always wanted to return to the Keys and live on a house boat. He will be missed by all but in our hearts forever. Family will receive friends in the Broadus-Raines Chapel Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 5:00 pm -8:00 pm.
