Donna Marie Carncross, 95, of Orange Park, FL, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010. She was born on June 10, 1915 in Fairfield, Iowa to parents, Louis A. and Merta Pequignot. Mrs. Carncross has lived in the Orange Park area for the last 26 years. She had worked as a manager in the motel and advertising business. Mrs. Carncross was an avid watcher of all the news and media channels especially ones about politics. Her family said if you ever needed to know what was going on in the world, all you would have to do is ask her. She cared for and loved all kinds of animals but her favorite was cats. Mrs. Carncross truly loved her time spent with her daughter and grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Carncross, her parents and her brother, Lewis Pequignot. Mrs. Carncross will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Donna K. Walker; grandsons, Norman Walker and Wesley Walker (Jamie); sister, Shirley Heston (Emil). A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, July 9, 2010 at the Penney Farms Cemetery with Bro.
