Glen McConnell Bruce, 90, of Orange Park, FL passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010. He was born on November 30, 1919 in Coffeyville, KS to parents Clarance and Sylvia Bruce. Mr. Bruce honorably served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He always loved to travel, whether it was in some far off county or just jumping on the city bus and riding around the city, he never sat still for too long. In his spare time he enjoyed a good book. Glen will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Rose Bruce and is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Sharon Bruce; son, Stephen Klinger; daughters, Joy (Nick) Clark, Hope Klinger and Lori (Curtis) Manis; grandchildren, Christine Klinger, Bruce and Nicole Clark and Irie Manis. Inurnment at Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington, WA will held at a later date with military honors to be conferred at the cemetery.
