Richard Lee Dukes, 55, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009. He was born on October 11, 1954 to parents James and Ora Lee Dukes Sr. in North Kingston, RI. Mr. Dukes honorably and proudly served his nation and retired from The United States Navy. Richard enjoyed riding motorcycles with his brother, going on vacations in the Florida Keys and collecting Star Wars Memorabilia. He will be dearly missed by his beloved family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Bera Joy Dukes; Brother, James (Sandy) Dukes Jr.; niece, Sherry Michaelis; and great niece, Brittni Michaelis. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 10:00 am.
