Vona Anne Smith, 55, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away February 25, 2017.  She was born on March 8, 1961 in Orange Park, FL to parents Delmar Miracle and Fern E. (Wager) Deel.     She was a lifelong resident of the area and of the Baptist faith.  Vona was an animal lover who enjoyed sunsets on the ocean and fishing.  She was a loving woman who was family oriented and could light up any room she entered.  Vona is preceded in death by her father.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and daughter.   Vona is survived by her husband of 40 years together, George Edward Smith, Jr.; son, George Edward Smith, III; mother, Fern Deel; brothers, Mike Miracle (Becky), Glen Miracle and Dale Miracle; sisters, Janie Thomas (Kevin), Vella Davis (Don) and Debra Arnsdorff; grandchildren, Nathalia Smith and Katalina Smith; numerous nieces, nephews and her bulldogs, Gracie and Emma.   The family will receive friends in the Broadus-Raines Chapel on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00pm.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 2, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating.  Interment will follow at Springbank Cemetery.
