Willie B. “Uncle B” Tyler, Sr., 74, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away February 23, 2017.  He was born on July 24, 1942 in Brooker, FL to the late Bryant and Mildred (Kerce) Tyler.  Willie was a lifelong resident of Florida and a member of the Congregational Holiness Church.  He was a simple country boy that enjoyed fishing, shrimping, scrapping and dairy farming for Gustafson’s Dairy.  Willie loved family and getting together for family reunions.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Jean Tyler; son, Brandon Leroy Tyler and sister, Cindia Hodge. Willie is survived by his sons, Willie Brady Tyler, Jr. (Jennifer) and James Bennett; daughter, Shanesia Tyler Yearwood (William); brothers, Walter Creed Tyler and Jerry Tyler; sisters, Doretha Main and Martha Colgan; 2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild on-the-way and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, February 27, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating.
