Wayne Williams, 81, of Jacksonville, FL passed away September 2, 2016. He was born on August 23, 1935 in Valdosta, GA to parents, Eugene and Annie Ruth Williams and had lived in Jacksonville since 1951. Mr. Williams had served in the United States Air Force and was a longtime business owner in Jacksonville. He was predeceased by his children, Steven Williams, Sheryl Taylor and David Williams; granddaughter, Jessica Taylor; and sister, Barbara Anne Campbell. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Helen C. Williams; sisters, Martha (Fred) Reed and Faye (Tom) Cavoores; brother Fred (Peggy) Williams; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218 with military honors conferred.
