Clara Lee Ruth, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2016 in Orange Park, FL. She was born on March 24, 1933 in Monroe, NC to parents Will C. and Margaret A. (Helms) McManus. She married Douglas, her devoted husband of 65 years, in 1951. Clara worked as a school bus monitor for the Orange County School Board and retired in 1995. She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on April 19, 1984 when she joined Orlando, Florida Chapter #1002. She is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Ruth; sons, Danny L. Ruth and his wife Gwendolyn of Longwood, FL and Damon Ruth and his wife Jennifer of Cummings, GA; daughter, Annette Ruth of Orlando, FL; sisters, Betty Jean of Rockhill, SC and Rachael Baines of Highpoint, NC and many loving grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in the Moosehaven chapel with Reverend Helen Taylor officiating.
