Donald Marvin Henderson, 82, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away February 25, 2016. He was born on September 12, 1933 in Louisa County, VA to parents Lloyd and Beatrice (Michie) Henderson. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving in the United States Navy. He worked as a tile setter and moved to the local area in 1967 from Virginia. He was a member of the Arlington Assembly of God as well as American Legion Post #0137. He loved his dog Jack and will be missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his grandson, Roger M. Highcove, Jr. Survivors include his daughter, Heather Ann Highcove (Roger); brothers, Neal Henderson (Betty) and Tim Henderson (Janice); grandchildren, Lacie Dockery (Brandon) and Christie Wilson (Tyler) and great-grandchildren, Braylon Dockery, Hadley Dockery and Kennedi Wilson. Graveside service with military honors will be held at 9:30 am Monday, February 29, 2016 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Dr. David Peacock officiating.
