William L. Jackson, 73, of Interlachen, FL passed away on January 29, 2016. He was born on January 28, 1943 in Woodbine, Georgia to Clarence Leon and Mary Elizabeth (Rozier) Jackson, Sr. William honorably and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He has been a lifelong resident of Northeast Florida and was of the Baptist faith. William loved working in his garden and with his fruit trees. He enjoyed fishing, reading, watching westerns and collecting Avon models, car models and eagles. William is preceded in death by his parents and his three sisters, Georgia, Jeanette and Linda. He is survived by his soulmate of 33 years, Thelma Stallings; son, William Lee Jackson, Jr.; daughter, Cassie Case (Dwayne); brothers, Bo (Ruthie) and Joe; grandchildren, David Jeremy Gause and John Thomas Lumley, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Dawn Rose and Daelyn Jane Gause. The family will receive friends between 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel.
