Daniel David Steger, 36, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on January 6, 2016. He was born on September 4, 1979 in St. Petersburg, FL. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Harn Steger, 5 children, Kristen Slater, Hunter Grant, Trevor Poynter, Hannah Steger and Clayton Grant; Granddaughters, Keira Morrison and Kayla Morrison; mother, Margaret Ivey; stepfather Bob Ivey and his wife Charlene Ivey; sisters, Renee Large and Laura Ann Steger. He was a loving husband, father, “PaPa”, son, brother and uncle. Daniel loved taking care of his family, boating , cooking and his “lil farm”. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Ryan Centeno officiating. Burial will follow in Penney Farms Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. The pallbearers will be Hunter Grant, Trevor Poynter, Bob Ivey, Jeremy Slater, Dominic Demauro and Tim Large.
