Charles Andrew “Andy” Knight, 53, passed away Monday December 14, 2015. He was born in Lake City, FL and lived in the Jacksonville area all his life. He attended schools in Green Cove Springs Fl., and was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping, and sharing his famous cook outs. Andy was the epitome of a friend, never saying no to the hundreds of people touched with his gregarious folksy manner. Andy was pre-deceased by his father Dale. Survivors include his wife Marcela (Marci) Meyers, sons Charles Andrew Jr. “CJ”, and Jeremy Dale, daughters Kristin Leanne (Josuah), and Abigail Elizabeth, mother Sarah Walker (Doug), in-laws Richard and Marta Meyers, sisters Debbie (Shannon), and Jeannie (Brian) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of Andy’s life, featuring his traditional fish fry, will commence at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Green Cove Springs Elk’s lodge 1892 located 702 South Orange Ave. (US 17 S).
