Edward E. Edmondson, 78, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away December 9, 2015. He was born on March 30, 1937 in Morven, GA to parents Rupert and Sally (Lee) Edmondson. Mr. Edmondson was a Vietnam War Veteran, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy after 20 years of honorable service. He moved to the Clay County area in 1963 and enjoyed fishing and farming in his free time. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his son, Michael Edmondson. Survivors include his wife, Joanne Edmondson; daughter, Melinda Proctor; brother, Bobby Edmondson (Edna) and 3 grandchildren, Kayla, Andrew and Stephanie. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Penney Farms Cemetery.
