Mary Ellen Knight, 81, of Lake Como, FL, passed away November 24, 2015. She was born on February 14, 1934 in Hilliard, FL to the late John and Grace (Lockwood) Knight. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her son, Donald Joseph Kennedy; granddaughter, Tammy Smith and grandson, Loran Andrew Roebuck. Survivors include her children, Larry Kennedy, Diane Smith (Aaron), Phyllis Cowart (Ronald), Grace Roebuck, Mike Kennedy (Pamela) and John Kennedy; grandchildren, Bobby and Steve Kennedy, Erin Smith, David Cowart, Pamela Ferdon, Kevin Roebuck, Christopher Roebuck, Christopher Kennedy, Tia Kennedy, David Kennedy, Katie Kennedy, Emalee Ritter and Emmit Ritter; great-grandchildren, Emma Kennedy, Annie Cowart, David Cowart, Kaitlyn Cowart, Jacob Kennedy, Elizabeth Robair, Tommy Roebuck, Krystal Roebuck and Mary Roebuck and great-great-grandchildren, Valerie Robair, Natalie Robair, Trinity Robair and Daniel Kennedy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Judy Weeks officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time. Burial will follow in Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
