Bertha Whited Bertha passed away March 27, 2015 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 98. She was born to Lewis and Cora Carter on September 25, 1926 in Earlville, Illinois. Bertha married Dale Whited on November 23, 1937 in Illinois. They had a daughter Claudia. Dale preceded her in death on January 30, 1988. She worked as a clerk for Spector Freight System retiring in 1974. Bertha became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on December 15, 1980 when she joined Brooksville, Florida Chapter #229. She received her Academy of Friendship degree on May 1, 1983 and College of Regents degree on June 23, 1985. She came to Moosehaven on October 24, 2006 where she has resided for 8 years. Bertha will be laid to rest in Kokomo, Indiana. She is survived by daughter, Claudia Moeller of Kokomo, Indiana.
