CDR Charles Norman Goodale, USN, Ret., 86, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014. He was born on January 18, 1928 in Boston, MA to parents, Norman A. and Bernice Beswick Goodale. Mr. Goodale was a retired Commander in the United States Navy, serving his country for 30 years, as well as being a Korean and Vietnam War Veteran. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery with full military honors and Reverend Russell Franklin officiating.
