Carolyn Lynn Cross, 67, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away on August 15, 2014. She was born on September 4, 1946 in Harlan, KY to parents Hubert Hugh and Florence F. Forrster Owens. Carolyn moved to Clay County in 2006 and was of the Baptist faith. She loved reading, cooking and playing the piano. Carolyn was a loving wife, wonderful mother and cherished her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Robert L. Hale and granddaughter, Caelynn Asbury. Carolyn will be dearly missed by all of her loving family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Paul C. Cross; daughters, Rachel Hale and Renee L. Asbury and her husband Richard; sister, Patricia A.
