Terry Dean Padgett, 54, passed away Monday, August 11, 2008. Mr. Padgett was born to parents Curtis and Betty Padgett on May 8, 1954 in Duval County, FL and lived in the Jacksonville, Oceanway, and Orange Park areas all of his life. He worked in the construction industry and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was adventurous and enjoyed skydiving and deep sea fishing. He also enjoyed the beach and traveling. Mr. Padgett is survived by his mother, Betty Purvis; two daughters, Sheri (Rob) Dixon and Shelly Padgett; two brothers, Tony Padgett and Jerry (Mary Jo) Purvis; one sister, Diane (Richard) Evitt; two grandchildren: Stephen and Sheldon; and his Doberman, Mag.
