George Cook, Sr., 71, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014.  He was born on March 7, 1943 in Vicksburg, MS to parents, Eddie and Corrine Terrell Cook.  Mr. Cook was of the Baptist faith and a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church.  He is survived by his wife, Regina Cook; son, George Cook, Jr.; daughter, Shari Will; step-son, Derek Greene; brothers, Steve and Eddie Cook; sister, Irene Sanders and 1 grandson, Arthur Greene.  Memorial services will be held at 5:30 pm on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at North Jacksonville Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Coram officiating.  Please sign the family’s online guestbook at www.broadusraines.com.  Arrangements are under the care of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home, 501 Spring St., Green Cove Springs, FL (904) 284-4000.
